INSHORE FISHING
Close to the coastline.
Around Sámara, we explore the coastline and underwater structures in search of species such as cubera snapper and roosterfish. Depending on the conditions, we use a range of techniques including casting, popping and jigging.
OFFSHORE FISHING
Head out into the open ocean.
We head offshore in search of the Pacific’s iconic species: marlin, sailfish, tuna, mahi-mahi and more. Our strategy and fishing grounds change with the day’s conditions and fish activity.

Preparation and departure
Breakfast, gear preparation and departure for the boat.

Head to the first fishing grounds
We choose between inshore and offshore fishing based on the conditions and the day’s target.
Morning
Search and fishing
Monitor the conditions, adapt our techniques and move to a different area if needed.
Noon
Break on board
Meal, fresh fruit, drinks and a complimentary beer before heading back out to fish.

Return to Sámara
Return to the harbor, followed by a transfer back to the lodge.

The boat’s speed allows us to reach the different fishing grounds around Sámara quickly and, most importantly, stay mobile as the action shifts. Less time cruising, more time fishing.

We limit each trip to four anglers to ensure greater comfort, more personal attention and plenty of fishing time for everyone. We also place great importance on respecting the fish and the marine environment.
Catch and release is encouraged, and protected species are handled in accordance with local regulations.
